ABSTRACT
An element of a semigroup is called $disjunctive$ if it does not form a class modulo some non-identity congruence. We first
study identity elements of inverse monoids that are disjunctive. It turns out that a disjunctive identity element can be determined
by a basis. We continue to analyze other disjunctive elements, and find out that disjunctive elements in some D-classes can be
determined by a special element.
